Questions, comments, jokes
We welcome all three.

Pricing starts with your manuscript's word count, then factors in genre and any add-ons like distribution or marketing packages. Rates differ for actor-narrated versus author-narrated projects. You get one clear, flat-rate quote upfront — no surprises, no hidden fees, and no agency commissions, because we aren't a talent agency.
-
Divide your word count by roughly 9,300 to estimate finished runtime. A 50,000-word manuscript typically lands around 5.4 hours of finished audio. The exact number shifts a little with your narrator's pace and how complex the material is.
-
Most projects finish end-to-end within eight weeks of talent launch, pickups included. Manuscripts over 80,000 words may need more time. You'll get a timeline at the start and hear from us if anything shifts.
-
Never. Every narrator is a trained professional, and every voice is human. All performances are protected by our AI rider, which prevents a narrator's voice from being used or modeled without explicit written consent and proper compensation.
-
Yes. This is a work-for-hire agreement — you or your publisher own 100% of the final audio. Neither we nor the narrator retains any rights or royalties unless you specifically agree otherwise.
-
Yes. Every platform has its own mastering spec, and our engineers stay current on all of them. Across 150-plus titles, we've never had one rejected.
-
Both work. If you already have someone in mind, we'll still provide production oversight and quality control so the result meets platform standards. If you want to read it yourself, we offer narration coaching and studio rentals to get you there.
-
We keep going until we find the right voice for your book. We can also accommodate special requests like dual narrators or specific vocal traits — just tell us early so we can confirm availability.
-
It's rare, but you're covered either way. You can take a full refund of your deposit, or we'll recast at no additional charge and resume production immediately.
-
One round of final notes is included after you receive the mastered audiobook. Additional revisions may carry a fee, especially if they stem from manuscript changes after recording began — so send us the final version before we launch.
-
We invoice in two parts: 50% when you select your narrator and confirm launch, and 50% on final delivery of the mastered files. Payments are made by ACH transfer, with full details on your invoice.
-
Final mastered files arrive organized and ready to download. We recommend keeping a local backup, and we hold your files on our system for 24 months after delivery in case you need a replacement.
